Job summary

DP World in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Training Supervisor to own the end-to-end learning experience for team members, ensuring each individual can perform tasks safely and independently.

You will design and deliver structured, role-based training, coordinate onboarding, and maintain instructional materials aligned to SOPs. This role emphasizes trainer development, competency assessment, and data-driven improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive/logistics quality environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to engage diverse teams including DP World staff.
• Excellent trainer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement structured, role-based training plans for assigned pillars.
• Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding, orientation, and hands‑on floor training.
• Develop work instructions, job aids, and instructional materials aligned to current SOPs.
• Maintain Train‑the‑Trainer programs; select, coach, and evaluate SMEs assigned as trainers.
• Assess employees to verify they are competent to perform tasks independently within pillars.
• Identify skill and performance gaps and implement targeted development plans.
• Monitor training effectiveness using assessments, floor observations, leadership feedback, and KPIs.
• Connect learning outcomes to safety, productivity, quality, and other operational KPIs.
• Track SOP compliance and elevate deviations.
• Partner with Operations, Safety, and HR; provide regular updates on training progress.
