Job summary

Northwestern Mutual is seeking a Technology Solutions Consultant to work on-site across network offices, helping financial advisors grow practice through technology. You will build strong relationships with advisors and leadership, tailor consulting to business objectives, and champion the adoption of Northwestern Mutual’s technology suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience including consultation with professionals in financial services or similar industry.
• Experience coaching/training professionals.
• Ability to understand sales-focused software technology and its benefits.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proven ability to consult and drive measurable improvements in an outcome-based model.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with financial advisors and network office leadership to understand objectives and needs.
• Assist advisors in using Northwestern Mutual's technology tools to enhance client-advisor experiences and productivity.
• Understand insurance and investment sales cycles to integrate technology into business processes.
• Communicate technology benefits clearly to ensure audience understanding.
• Collect feedback from advisors and relay to Home Office leadership to ensure solutions meet user needs.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest simple technology applications to improve practices.
• Participate in planning sessions to support goal achievement and productivity.
• Assist in delivering training on technology best practices.
• Prepare users for new technology deployments through training and communication.
• Track engagement and attendance to contribute to improvement efforts.
• Travel may be required based on supported offices.
