Job summary

Cabrillo College is seeking a Systems/Network Support Specialist to provide front-line IT support for student and staff devices, applications, and classroom tech across Aptos and Watsonville campuses. The role involves on-site duties, software deployments, and end-user training to ensure reliable, secure computing across campus.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of LAN support experience, a CS/IT focus, and a commitment to serving Cabrillo’s diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Two years of college-level coursework in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• At least two years of progressively responsible experience in providing technical customer support services to computer end-users in a LAN environment.
• Understanding and sensitivity to diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support desktop/laptop hardware and software.
• Participate in enterprise-wide software deployments and end-user training.
• Provide on-site IT support at Aptos/Watsonville campuses.
