Job summary

Gilbane seeks a Superintendent to independently supervise trade contractors on projects valued up to $30M. The role is on-site daily, coordinating safety, schedule, and quality with the project team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management with 4–8 years of superintendent experience, OSHA 30, and relevant certifications. Gilbane offers strong training and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4-8 years of experience on $15-$30 million or larger commercial/industrial projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certified.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and subs to meet schedule and quality.
• Maintains project schedules, plans and contingency measures.
• Leads contractor meetings and field communications.
• Ensures permits and safety plans are properly executed.
• Coaches junior team members and collaborates with project team.
• Manages field operations and documentation using project software.
