Job summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a highly motivated Student Support Specialist III to provide academic coaching to students across campus locations and to make appropriate referrals. The role includes admissions, assessment, programming information, and early intervention strategies.

The position reports to the Director of Student Success and Tutoring, and will support enrollment, advising, and registration activities, while coordinating services with Family Scholar House

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4–6 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coaching to students at all campus locations and/or refer students as needed.
• Assist students with admissions information, assessment, programming information, and early intervention strategies.
• Provide enrollment, advising and registration information.
• Coordinate early alert outreach to at-risk students using programs like Starfish.
• Collaborate with Family Scholar House staff to coordinate student services (academic and non-academic).
• Prepare retention reports regarding student success.
• Participate in registration/enrollment activities and campus events.
• Teach FYE105 and related courses when required.
