Job summary

SPEEDVEGAS Motorsports Park is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Las Vegas. You will own accounts payable, inventory accounting and fleet asset accounting while supporting the monthly close with journal entries, reconciliations and analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2–4 years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge. ERP experience and advanced Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable.
• Experience with an ERP system and strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
• Able to analyze financial data, spot discrepancies and explain findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable: manage full AP cycle, vendor relations, month-end accruals and reconciliations.
• Fleet and fixed assets: amortization schedules, loan payments and fixed asset roll-forward.
• Revenue and cash: record journal entries for AR, deferred revenue, deposits; reconcile bank accounts.
• Month-end close: own checklist and ensure timely close; perform analyses.
