Switch is seeking a Staff Accountant in Las Vegas to maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close. You will work with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with established controls.

The role reports to the Accounting Manager and collaborates with cross-functional teams. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with audits while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Experience preparing journal entries and financial statements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting entries.
• Support the monthly close and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Record allocations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and depreciation.
• Assist with audits and respond to requests from auditors.
