Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. This is a project-site-based role with extended assignments at Midwest projects, rotating home trips every 3–4 weeks.

Ideal candidates will have a technical degree, experience with drones/UAS, and a background in field or construction management within renewables.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting deadlines on-site or in field settings.
• Ability to create and interpret project reports and data.
• Experience working in a team environment on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and authorities.
• Conduct FAIs to verify site construction to specs.
• Maintain construction drawings and red-lines.
• Manage RFIs between teams, vendors, and owners.
• Oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews against scope of work.
• Review material submittals and assist in pre-construction planning.
• Maintain storm water logs and remediation tasks.
• Operate drones to document progress and issues.
