Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. This is a project-site role, on-site at active construction sites to support day-to-day engineering, quality, and project execution.

You will work at Southwest project sites (El Paso, TX area) with rotations every 3–4 weeks, coordinating inspections, RFIs, and documentation while ensuring compliance with design and codes.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting deadlines and delivering reports.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Ability to create and compile data into reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with local, county, and state AHJs.
• Create and conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) to verify site construction to design specs.
• Document and maintain construction and engineering drawings, including red-line sets.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams accountable to their Scopes of Work.
• Review construction material submittals.
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets for pre-construction planning.
• Maintain storm water documentation logs and remediation.
• Collaborate to manage project constraints with project management, engineering, and construction personnel.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress/issues.
