Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. This on-site role requires coordinating inspections, managing RFIs, and ensuring construction aligns with design and regulations, with rotations returning home every 3–4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting deadlines
• Experience creating reports and compiling data

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical discipline
• Drone operation or UAS license preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and discussions with AHJs at local, county, and state levels
• Create and conduct First Article Inspections to verify site construction to design specs
• Document and maintain construction drawings and red-line sets
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams accountable to their Scopes of Work
• Review construction material submittals
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets for pre-construction planning
• Maintain storm water documentation and remediation logs
• Collaborate with project management to manage constraints
• Operate drones to capture construction progress/issues
