Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar construction across the United States. This project-site role focuses on on-site engineering, quality, and execution at active sites in the Southeast portfolio, including Baconton, GA.

Ideal candidates will have a technical degree and drone/UAS experience, with a history of field engineering or construction management in renewables.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting deadlines and delivering on schedule.
• Ability to compile reports and summarize project data.
• Proven teamwork skills in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and authorities.
• Create First Article Inspections to verify site conformance.
• Document construction drawings, including red-lines.
• Manage RFIs between teams, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subs and self-perform teams to the scope of work.
• Review material submittals for compliance.
• Assist in preparing specs and data sheets.
• Maintain storm water logs and remediation.
• Collaborate with PM/eng/construct to address constraints.
• Operate drones to capture progress and issues.
