Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar projects across the United States. This is a project-site role, with on-site work to assist day-to-day engineering, quality, and project execution activities.

Assignments may span multiple sites with home trip rotations typically every 3–4 weeks. The opening serves the Southwest portfolio and is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience creating reports and compiling data.
• Experience working in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and facilitate discussions with local, county, and state AHJs.
• Create and conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) to verify construction to design specs.
• Document and maintain construction drawings, including red-line sets.
• Compose and manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams to their Scopes of Work.
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets for pre-construction planning.
• Maintain storm water documentation logs and remediation.
• Proactively manage project constraints with project management and teams.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress and issues.
