Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects nationwide. This on-site role works on active construction sites to support engineering, quality, and project execution.

Responsibilities include inspections, FAIs, RFIs, drawing management, submittal reviews, and drone operations. A technical degree and field leadership in renewables are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Experience in Field/Project Engineering or Construction Management in Renewables or Oil & Energy.
• Experience in a leadership position.
• Experience communicating in multi-lingual environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and regulatory bodies.
• Create and conduct FAIs to verify site construction to design specs.
• Document and maintain construction drawings and red-line sets.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams to their Scopes of Work.
• Review construction material submittals.
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets.
• Maintain storm water documentation and remediation logs.
• Collaborate to proactively manage project constraints.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress and issues.
