Job summary

Harvest Solar is hiring a Construction Site Superintendent to coordinate field operations on solar projects, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and efficiency. This role serves as the on-site leadership representative and primary connection between field crews, subcontractors, Project Managers, Safety, and Quality.

The Superintendent plans, coordinates, communicates, documents, and supervises daily project activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License required; CDL preferred.
• 3-5 years construction leadership or supervisory experience required.
• OSHA Certification required; NABCEP preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the primary consideration in all decisions and enforce safety controls.
• Review blueprints, specs, and data sheets; coordinate with PMs for RFIs and testing.
• Lead on-site crews and subcontractors; conduct toolbox talks and day-to-day planning.
• Manage schedules, equipment placement, and project look ahead; monitor budgets.
• Submit daily/weekly field reports and maintain site documentation, including SWPPP and JHAs.
• Provide on-site leadership and mentorship; evaluate field personnel performance.
