Job summary

RES is seeking a Superintendent - Electrical - Solar to coordinate the site electrical construction schedule, execution plan, and daily issues on a solar project. You will supervise electrical field personnel and work to complete the project on time and within budget while maintaining safety and high quality standards.

The role requires extensive travel (76–100% domestically), strong leadership, and deep knowledge of electrical construction practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years experience solar construction or utility construction environment required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel 76-100% of the time domestically.
• Advanced knowledge in safety and OSHA requirements; LOTO implementation & Management.
• Electrical installation experience; interpretation of project schedule; QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the site electrical construction schedule and execution plan.
• Supervise electrical field personnel and manage daily construction issues.
• Maintain electrical construction schedule and identify upcoming issues.
• Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary.
• Ensure site prep work is per contracts, design, and specifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with AHJ and stakeholders.
• Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with EMS requirements.
• Oversee subcontractor contracts and electrical material management.
