Job summary

CAMBA in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Shift Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in our security and residential services program. You will supervise staff, ensure client safety, maintain records, and enforce policies while coordinating with partners and funders.

The role requires on-site presence, strong communication, and experience with CARES and confidentiality; benefits include health, dental, 403(b), PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Applicants enrolled in a program and on track to complete the minimum education within the next three months may apply; employment contingent on satisfying requirements.
• Employment is contingent upon satisfying requirements for the position.
• Four years of applicable experience.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and other basic office technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and protect client confidentiality.
• Input client data using CARES database as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, supervisors and funders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance per NYS DHS, NYS OTDA, NYC FDNY, NYC Dept. of Health and other bodies.
• Manage day-to-day shift operations and ensure programming and client care services occur.
• Provide supervision on-site and ensure staffing levels are adequate.
