Job summary

CAMBA in Queens, NY seeks a Per Diem Shift Supervisor to oversee security and operations at its facility. You will maintain client confidentiality, input data into CARES, and ensure smooth shift coverage while coordinating with staff and funders.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, 4 years of experience, MS Office proficiency, and knowledge of CARES preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Compensation is $25.75 per hour with per-diem status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years’ applicable experience.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and other basic office technology.
• Working knowledge of CARES preferred.
• Bilingual (English + another language) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Input client data using DHS’ CARES database, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, supervisors, and funders.
• Ensure on-site shift coverage and supervise staff during shifts.
• Monitor safety policies and ensure compliance with related regulations.
• Respond to complaints, incidents, and emergencies in a professional manner.
• Prepare shift reports and coordinate program activities with CAMBA management.
