Job summary

CAMBA is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Rising Up Men’s Shelter in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinating staff to provide client-centered services.

The position requires a HS Diploma or GED with experience (or higher education). Strong communication and leadership skills are essential; bilingual abilities are preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years applicable experience, or Associate’s degree with 2 years applicable experience, or Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Ability to write client assessments, service plans, progress notes, and recommendations; curricula and lesson plans; reports and staff evaluations.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Input client data using DHS’ CARES database, as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NYS DHS, NYS OTDA, NYC FDNY and other policies.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations, staffing, programming, and client care.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports to CAMBA management and funders.
