Job summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services in Washington State seek a Program Supervisor for the Bridge Shelter program. You will ensure staffing, hire and train new staff, and provide direct support to residents to rapidly transition them to permanent housing.

This full-time role offers $27.27–$30.34 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, HSA/FSA, generous PTO, 403(b), and EAP.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with people experiencing homelessness.
• Experience or knowledge of mental illness and addictions.
• Knowledge and experience with crisis intervention.
• Commitment to the harm reduction program model.
• Ability to work within the mission of CCS/CHS.
• Commitment to a culturally diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct service to people who are homeless and provide crisis intervention.
• Coordinate with case managers, social workers, and medical professionals to meet client needs.
• Maintain a safe shelter environment and assist janitorial/maintenance tasks.
• Manage front desk, security, and client tracking records.
• Supervise volunteers and support off-site volunteers as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
