Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Prefer LMHC or LICSW licensure.
• Minimum 3 years in the Human Services field.
• Knowledge of trauma, addiction, secondary trauma, grief support, recovery, mental illness.
• Knowledge of homelessness issues.
• Experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention and de-escalation.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and healthy environment for shelter guests and staff.
• Train staff on techniques to minimize secondary trauma and provide support.
• Respond to guests in crisis and navigate emergency safety procedures.
• Collaborate with PSI departments to coordinate clinical support.
