Job summary

Grainger is hiring a full-time On-Site Service Representative in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will support customers by managing inventory, providing excellent service, and driving account growth through the KeepStock program.

Route-based service and collaboration with sales partners are key parts of the role. Ideal candidates have 3 years of selling or service experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 25–60 lbs, with a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Have and maintain a valid driver's license in State of residence.
• Must carry required levels of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations, ensure stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
• Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs
• Probes for customer needs during each site visit and works with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings
