Job summary

Grainger in Asheville, NC is hiring a full-time On-Site Service Representative to manage customer inventory and deliver exceptional service.

You will stock, service accounts, and support KeepStock while collaborating with sales to expand Grainger offerings. A 3-year service background and a high school diploma are required; lifting up to 60 lbs and a valid driver’s license are needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/ or work in difficult positions.
• Valid driver's license in State of residence.
• Maintain required automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations and maintain inventory levels.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain loyalty.
• Follow routing software-defined routes and maintain guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probe for customer needs during site visits and collaborate with sales partners.
