Job summary

IBM is seeking a System Services Representative for MVS Server to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of non-IBM server products. You will deliver technical support and operational services to clients, ensuring high client satisfaction.

The role requires familiarity with non-IBM server products such as Dell, Oracle, and Fujitsu, plus knowledge of operating systems, and experience with IBM tools like Salesforce and Watson Einstein Analytics. A valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

Experience with non-IBM server products (Dell, Oracle, Fujitsu) installation, maintenance and repair.
Basic operating systems knowledge and server capabilities.
Experience using IBM tools (Cognitive Support Platform and Watson Einstein Analytics).
Understanding of IT engineering concepts (installation, customization, operation, recovery, tuning).
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and onsite infrastructure services.
Valid and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform On-Site Installation: Install, maintain, and repair non-IBM server products at client sites.
Deliver Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and issue resolution for installation, update, configuration, operations, or performance.
Execute Services Activities: Conduct Technical Delivery Assessment, installation planning, account management, and other project-based services.
Collaborate with Support Centers: Work with professionals across centers to ensure high-quality resolutions.
Maintain Technical Certifications: Update Digital Technical Certifications and Soft Skills trainings.
