Job summary

IBM Systems Infrastructure & Technology is hiring a System Services Representative for MVS Server. This hybrid role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of non-IBM server products at client sites, delivering high-quality technical support and superior client satisfaction.

You will work with diverse hardware and software, perform Technical Delivery Assessments, coordinate with support centers, and maintain certifications to ensure IBM service excellence for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Exposure to non-IBM server products installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of operating systems and server functions.
• Experience with IBM tools to support client operations.
• Understanding of IT engineering concepts and maintenance.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and onsite services.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform On-Site Installation: install, maintain, and repair non-IBM server products at client sites.
• Deliver Technical Support: assist with installation, updates, configuration and performance issues.
• Execute Services Activities: conduct assessments, planning, account management, and project-based services.
• Collaborate with Support Centers: coordinate with teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain Technical Certifications: keep Digital Technical Certifications and Soft Skills trainings up to date.
