Job summary

Motion Industries seeks an experienced inside Customer Service Representative in Georgia to determine and meet customer needs, develop relationships, and support the sales team. You will ensure accurate transactions and guide junior staff, with a focus on on-site customer engagement.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, quotes, and orders, managing inventory for consignment customers, sourcing products, and promoting items to increase gross profit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years related experience.
• Proven reliability and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes and takes customer orders by telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Maintains inventory levels for Consignment customers and sources products as needed.
• Negotiate prices within parameters to influence gross profit and promote sales.
• Generate sales by promoting products to existing customers and expedite backorders.
• Mentor/lead to lower level employees and act as SME when needed.
• May act as back-up for Operations Manager and handle returns.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Minimize branch freight cost and coordinate with suppliers and account reps.
• Provide troubleshooting support via phone or email and assist customers.
