Olson Defendorf Custom Homes in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to own the day-to-day financial administration for our boutique luxury custom home builder. This role starts part-time with potential to grow into full-time, offering a competitive hourly rate.

You will manage AP, invoices, reconciliations, reports, and construction-finance documentation, working directly with leadership to keep finances accurate and responsive.

Formación

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Strong accounts payable, reconciliations, transaction entry knowledge
• Construction/accounting for project-based business is a plus
• Proficient with accounting software, spreadsheets, and digital workflow systems
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, self-driven and able to work on-site 100%
• Positive, collaborative attitude in a small team

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting administration
• Receive, review, enter, code, and track vendor and subcontractor invoices
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts
• Prepare recurring accounting and financial reports for leadership
• Assist with construction draws and project-related financial documentation
• Maintain organized accounting records across multiple projects
• Respond promptly to accounting-related emails and payment questions
