Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Doniphan, NE is seeking a Production Technician to support seed production operations on site. You will operate process equipment, follow quality plans, collect data, and participate in safety initiatives to protect people and products.

The role requires a High School diploma, willingness to rotate shifts, and strong computer skills. No visa sponsorship; relocation not offered; on-site work is required. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is noted for external hires.

Qualifications

• Require High School Diploma or GED; ability to obtain GED if needed within one year of hire
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime during seasonal peaks
• Proven ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong computer skills; familiarity with Outlook, Excel and Word
• Good written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
• Hold a valid US driver’s license to operate company vehicles to field locations

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment while following safety policies
• Adhere to Quality Plan work instructions and requirements
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records
• Support preventive maintenance and general repair efforts
• Lead or support safety programs to enhance site safety
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, PCs, tablets) to perform tasks
• Potentially perform field management activities such as scouting and logistics planning
• Assist with harvest activities and related processes
• Perform other duties as assigned
