Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Tipton, Indiana is seeking a Production Technician to support seed production operations on-site. You will operate process equipment, follow quality plans, and collect data for continuous improvement while contributing to safety initiatives and warehouse tasks.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to work a rotating schedule, and basic computer skills (Outlook/Excel/Word). Experience with SAP/WMS and forklift handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or willing to obtain within one year.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends/holidays.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with computers; familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Valid US driver's license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Run various process equipment following safety policies.
• Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Lead or support a safety program at the site.
• Assist with warehousing including forklift operations.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, PCs, tablets).
• Assist with field management, scouting, and vendor relations.
• Assist with harvest activities and related processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
