Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Safety Manager I for a project in Austin, Texas. This full-time, on-site role oversees the site safety program and ensures compliance with Safety & Health Program principles, reporting to the project site team.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in construction safety, CSP or equivalent, and strong communication skills to lead training and incident investigations on this major project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of managing construction safety and health processes.
• Authorized OSHA 500 trainer.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• CMAR and preconstruction experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and field communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Safety & Health Program on site and apply EHS management principles.
• Communicate effectively with clients, management, supervisors, employees, and trade partners.
• Attend preconstruction meetings and review safety submittals from trade partners.
• Build strong relationships with project staff, safety representatives, and vendors.
• Create and maintain safety incident reports and investigation documents.
