Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a safety professional to manage the site safety program on an assigned project and lead a team of safety professionals and subcontractors. You will educate and train staff on safety requirements and incident prevention, ensuring compliance with company policies and client standards.

The role emphasizes developing the SEP, conducting safety trainings, and participating in cross-site safety initiatives while maintaining a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Minimum of three years’ progressive safety/health experience.
• Preferred: BCSP OHST, BCSP CHST, NCCER Safety Technician, OSHA 500/501.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site safety program on an assigned project.
• Lead and train safety professionals and subcontractors.
• Create accurate safety reports and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain the site Safety Execution Plan (SEP).
• Engage in cross-site safety activities and audits.
