Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC in Austin, TX is seeking an On-Site Health and Safety Officer to implement and monitor safety programs on construction sites. You will conduct on-site safety training, inspections, audits, and coordinate with management to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has OSHA 30 in Construction, current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, 3–5 years in health and safety roles in construction or industrial settings, and the ability to travel domestically for extended periods.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30hr card for construction.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout the country over an extended period.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Observe workers to ensure proper use of PPE.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement.
