David Weekley Homes in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Project Coordinator to support the operations team, including sales, construction, warranty, and project managers. The role provides hands-on administrative support to keep projects moving on schedule.

Responsibilities include processing contracts and closings, managing permits, organizing files, coordinating meetings, paying invoices, ordering supplies, and offering additional support as needed.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and able to handle interruptions.
• Drive to get results from vendors, subcontractors, and management; not hesitant to pick up the phone.
• Prior experience in residential home building and/or permitting is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; exposure to JD Edwards beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process sales contracts and closings.
• Manage/apply for all building permits and coordinate with local municipalities.
• Document, track and report on all building permit and start activities.
• Coordinate meetings and team events.
• Maintain accurate electronic files for each home.
• Pay invoices and utility bills.
• Order supplies.
• Provide additional support as needed.
