Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Release Manager to support DISA GSM-O II on-site at Fort Meade, MD, with potential seats at Scott AFB, IL or Hill AFB. The role involves Lean-Agile release planning, coordinating updates across environments, and delivering new functionality in a DoD cloud context.

The candidate will work with product owners, developers, DevOps, and data teams to manage risk, dependencies and metrics while ensuring timely releases under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• On-site support at Fort Meade, MD / Scott AFB, IL / Ogden, UT.
• DoD 8570 IAT level II or higher certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 6–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with JIRA, Xray, Confluence and Git repositories.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams using Lean–Agile principles.
• Manage release packages and update sets across environments.
• Track dependencies, risks and mitigations for releases.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and report sprint and program execution metrics.
• Manage multiple releases and maintain release schedules.
