Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the GSM-O II contract for DISA, focusing on secure CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, and mission-critical system availability. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and Security+ or CISSP within 60 days of start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 4–8 years of experience, or a Master's with 2–6 years.
• Experience building CI/CD in Agile environments.
• Proficient with Git/Bitbucket and Linux.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance before start.
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD build/deploy pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and Bitbucket.
• Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Kafka and Elastic clusters.
• Configure applications to integrate network data into an Elastic (ELK) stack in AWS.
• Ensure DoD security standards and STIGs are applied to configurations.
• Develop centralized dashboards and observability for health, performance and security posture.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and automation for incident detection and root cause analysis.
• Optimize cloud and infrastructure costs via FinOps practices.
• Manage enterprise certificate lifecycle operations and automation for secure service delivery.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Cloud, and App Eng teams to embed security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work with a distributed team; communicate with stakeholders.
