Job summary

Compass in Bay St. Louis, MS, seeks a Transaction Coordinator to support a busy real estate team. You will handle document tracking from listing to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements to help agents close deals smoothly.

You will manage contract deadlines, validate records in company systems, and assist with commission inquiries while collaborating with lenders, attorneys and title companies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a real estate transaction-processing function, coordination, accounting, or payroll preferred.
• Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract data.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer service-oriented personality.
• Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Real estate experience preferred.
• BA or BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements.
• Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and promptly, with a focus on the details.
• Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met.
• Navigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission records.
• Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations.
• Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents.
