Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on a utility-scale solar project in Yerington, NV. You will implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan, manage inspection teams, and act as the primary quality liaison with on-site client representatives, subcontractors, and regulators.

The role requires 3–5 years in utility-scale solar QA/QC, preferred certifications (ASQ/ISO 9001/Six Sigma) and OSHA 10 or 30, with strong knowledge of NEC/IEC and QA/QC methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management.
• Certifications: ASQ/ISO 9001/Six Sigma and OSHA 10 or 30 are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP).
• Assist in creating and managing Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
• Enforce Quality Management System (QMS) standards across the project.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits per ITP/SSQP/contract.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement CAPA.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and generate metrics for leadership.
• Review subcontractor QA plans and ensure materials meet specs.
• Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement.
