Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on a major solar and infrastructure project in Yerington, NV. The role involves on-site leadership, implementing the SSQP, managing inspection teams and liaising with clients, subcontractors and regulators.

Travel to remote project sites is required. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in utility-scale solar QA/QC, certifications such as ASQ/ISO 9001/Six Sigma, and strong knowledge of NEC/IEC/ASTM standards, with proficiency in Procore and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management.
• Certifications in quality management (ASQ, ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and OSHA 10/30 are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of PV systems, civil construction, electrical/mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Experience with project management software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills; ability to travel to remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC at the project level and implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP).
• Develop and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for all definable work.
• Perform regular inspections and audits; verify corrective actions.
• Identify, report, and manage nonconformances; lead RCA and CAPA.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and generate quality metrics reports.
• Review subcontractor QA plans and ensure materials meet specifications.
• Facilitate lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and codes.
