Job summary

Clear Investment Group seeks an experienced Assistant Property Manager to stabilize a distressed residential community in Washington, DC. This on-site role focuses on leasing, collections, maintenance coordination, staff leadership, and financial performance to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate leads with vision, coaches staff, and delivers measurable improvements in occupancy and operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience in multifamily or distressed properties.
• Proven success stabilizing and turning around underperforming properties.
• Strong leadership including hiring, supervision, and performance management.
• Experience using property management software such as Yardi Voyager or RentCafe.
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations, leasing, and compliance with policies and laws.
• Coordinate inspections and timely maintenance with vendors and on-site staff.
• Manage maintenance requests, scheduling, and performance of on-site team.
• Monitor lease terms, community rules, and safety policies; enforce delinquencies.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports in coordination with Regional Manager.
• Ensure accurate resident files, records, and compliance paperwork.
