Rural Communities Housing Development Corporation is seeking an On-Site Property Manager to organize daily apartment operations, verify compliance with government regulations, and coordinate tenant services. The role requires living on-site with a provided two-bedroom apartment and utilities as additional compensation.

You will review applications, maintain records, manage turns, and oversee compliance with TCAC, HOME, HUD, and USDA.

Qualifications

• Must have good writing and math skills.
• Must be well organized and thorough.
• Must be able to work and make decisions without supervision.
• Familiarity with landlord/tenant law helpful.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel and Word required.
• Ability to work with and be sensitive to the needs of low-income persons.
• Obtain USDA Rural Development Manager Certification within six months (employer funds).

Responsabilités

• Review tenant applications for eligibility and show units.
• Process eligible applicants under TCAC, HOME, HUD, and USDA guidelines.
• Ensure move-in files are complete and orderly.
• Walk property twice daily to monitor appearance.
• Coordinate rent collection and turnover procedures.
• Complete lease forms and explain occupancy terms.
• Attend trainings and assist with audits and reporting.
• Provide local information about schools, shopping, and transit.
• Coordinate community events and social programs.
