Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The position involves handling work orders, make-ready tasks for vacants, inventory tracking, and routine inspections. On-site duties require flexibility, safety compliance, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Obtains materials and tracks inventory from the property's maintenance department and notifies re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely so they can be tracked.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and assists with cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
