Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and prepare vacant homes for leasing. You will also manage inventory, document requests, and assist with groundskeeping and general repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property, diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing by conducting pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and completing maintenance tasks.
• Manages materials and inventory, returns unused items, and notifies the supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, painting, and related tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts instead of replacing when possible.
