Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a property maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units.

The role involves following safety procedures, documenting work, and assisting in daily property upkeep including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• May be required to hold various certifications (e.g. HVAC) and licenses.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and a collaborative member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins (make-ready process).
• Maintains inventory, materials, and tools; tracks usage and re-orders as needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests and inspections.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where possible.
