Job summary

RPM Living seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician to uphold the clean, safe, and well-maintained appearance of our apartment communities.

You will perform custodial tasks, grounds care, unit make-readies, and basic repairs while operating power washers and floor care equipment. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and strong attention to detail to meet scheduling deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related work.
• Knowledge of varied trades such as drywall, carpentry, repair and make-ready.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and maintain common areas interior and exterior.
• Complete grounds work including trash removal and power washing.
• Clean breezeways, floors, doors and handrails; trim and prune landscaping as needed.
• Assist in make-ready units and prep vacants for occupancy.
• Operate equipment safely (power washer, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, blowers).
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests and complete work orders within 24–48 hours.
