Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and keep the property's interior and exterior clean and safe. You will support make-ready units and respond promptly to on-call maintenance requests while ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.

This role requires handling custodial tasks, grounds work, basic landscaping, preventive upkeep, and operating equipment such as power washers and floor scrubbers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• General knowledge in a variety of skilled trades including maintenance and basic carpentry.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties and maintain common areas including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Complete grounds work and basic landscaping such as trimming, watering and debris removal.
• Assist in make-ready units and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely (power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers, etc.)
• Respond promptly to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance assignments.
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours and update records in the system.
• Perform repairs to maintain aesthetics and structural integrity while adhering to safety policies.
