Job summary

RPM Living is hiring an on-site Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance and keep common areas clean at the property.Responsibilities include custodial tasks, grounds work, pool care basics, and assisting in make-ready units to prepare vacant apartments for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in maintenance. A flexible schedule with possible after-hours work is common at this site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance/Community Manager.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and perform basic landscaping tasks.
• Assist in make-ready units and trash-outs prior to make-ready.
• Operate maintenance equipment and assist in pool maintenance.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours maintenance assignments.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and update records.
