Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance specialist responsible for keeping interiors and exteriors in top condition. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain grounds and common areas in line with Greystar standards.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, relevant maintenance experience, and ability to use hand and power tools safely. You will coordinate with vendors, inspect work, and support budgeted maintenance projects across the community.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to identify and fix problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and external contacts.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and maintenance records.
• Strong mathematical skills for financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and develop corrective actions.
• Inspect work by contractors to verify quality and specs.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per manual.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing whenever possible.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide courteous resident service and respond to inquiries promptly.
