Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations, staff, and vendor coordination at the community. The role includes safety compliance, preventative maintenance, and customer service to residents.

The position requires on-site work, EPA/CPO certification, and basic computer skills; HVAC knowledge is a plus. On-call rotations and budget-conscious management are included within a full-time role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC knowledge desirable.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management and supervision of staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Ensure repairs in common areas and units are completed.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards.
• Manage maintenance supplies within budget.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain a safe, organized shop and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
• Provide on-call coverage for emergencies.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff and provide performance feedback.
• Promote teamwork and quality performance.
• Ensure excellent customer and resident relations.
