Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance at our Texas properties. You will manage service requests, supervise a maintenance team, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

You will contribute to budget adherence and drive timely, quality repairs. The role requires carpentry, electrical, plumbing skills and a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years in property management or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and standards and all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Supervise maintenance team to meet daily service requests and unit make-ready standards.
• Review service requests and identify chronic maintenance issues; track progress and respond promptly.
• Perform repairs including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Conduct pre-move in and post-move out inspections and ensure timely unit turns.
• Mentor maintenance staff and monitor safety and risk management across the property.
