Job summary

Asset Living manages a wide portfolio nationwide and seeks a Community Manager to run an on-site housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration & risk management to ensure policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role requires leadership, budget development, marketing oversight, retention programs and timely service response, with a focus on safety and fair housing adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration & risk management.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with policies, safety guidelines and liability concerns.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Lead strategic leasing, marketing plans and resident retention programs to drive occupancy.
• Head emergency team for the property and ensure timely response to incidents.
