Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee housing community operations on-site under Regional Manager supervision. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management, ensuring compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires regular on-site presence, staff development, budget planning, and coordination of property operations, including marketing and leasing to achieve NOI goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff per company directives.
• Ensure staff effectiveness through training, coaching, and guidance to meet benchmarks.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges; ensure timely submissions.
• Oversee vendor invoices reconciliation and coding.
• Head emergency team for the property and minimize liability.
• Develop marketing plans and leasing strategies; ensure leases are documented.
